10th International Yoga Day observed at the Indoor Stadium, Namchi

Namchi, 21 June : AYUSH Department, Namchi District Hospital, in collaboration with Mahila Patanjali Yoga Samiti, observed 10th International Yoga Day at the Indoor Stadium, Namchi, today.
The program started with the lighting of the lamp by all the dignitaries from different departments.
Dr Neelima Thatal, Senior Medical Officer, AYUSH Department,Namchi District Hospital delivered a welcome speech and also highlighted the importance of Yoga in one’s life.
This was followed by yoga demonstration in presence of Dr kavita Thapa,Senior Medical Officer, AYUSH Dept,Namchi.
The yoga instructor Ms Puspa Chettri demonstrated various yoga asanas, wherein all dignitaries participated enthusiastically.
The occasion was graced by Ms. Anapurna Alley DC Namchi, Dr. Urgen Sherpa DNO, Namchi District Hospital, Mr G P Sharma Joint Director Education Department, Ms Nirmala Moktan Joint Director Agriculture Department,Officers from line different departments, staff members Namchi District Hospital, members of Mahila Patanjali Yoga Samiti along with teachers and students from DIET College, Namchi.
