Namchi 7th May (IPR)- The 15-day Free Aamasha Mega Healing Camp organized by the Heavenly Nirvana Path Sikkim, under the supervision of Swami Bal Tapaswi Satguru Om Nanda His Holiness Master Godangel, came to a successful conclusion at Jorethang public playground, today.
The closing ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. Prem Singh Tamang as the chief guest along with Cabinet Ministers, Area MLA Mrs. Sunita Gazmer, Political secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Jacob Khaling, Zilla Adakshyas, Chairmen, Advisors, SP Namchi Mr. Manish Kumar Verma, Officials and public at large.
The event commenced with the Sarva Dharma Puja, a prayer that respects all religions, at the Mandap, which was led by the esteemed Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in making this event a successful one. He appreciated the treatments and teachings of Heavenly Nirvana Path and acknowledged the impact of HH Master Godangel’s teachings on inner peace.
He highlighted Sikkim’s No.1 rank in the happiness index according to the recent Survey of India.
He further mentioned the recent incident in Manipur, where the government took immediate action to ensure the safe return of 128 Sikkimese students via “Operation Guras”. They are expected to reach Sikkim via Siliguri by 8th May.
He said that the government is taking steps to aid the local residents of the remote region of Mabong Segong, which falls under the Zoom Salghari Constitution, by constructing 130 houses for each family since the area’s challenging terrain has made it difficult for the locals to construct a proper house.
He stated that this year the government plans to raise the number of beneficiaries under the scheme “Aama Yojana” from 500 to 1000 and each beneficiary will receive an annual amount of Rs. 20,000. Moreover, women who have reached the age of 60 will be eligible for the Old Age Scheme, which is already being implemented.
He also said that the government has decided to provide 5 houses to individuals living in destitute conditions in every ward of the state.
Hon’ble Chairman Commerce and Industries Department (Vyasananda Guruji) Shri. M. B. Chettri presented a report on the Camp. He stated that the Camp has provided significant aid to people suffering from various type of illnesses. According to his report, around 2600 patients from different parts of Sikkim, West Bengal, Bhutan, and Nepal were admitted to the Camp. During the 15-day free Camp, there were approximately 500 healers and over 600 volunteers involved.
At the conclusion of the event, HH Master Godangel delivered a benediction to the attendees and led a group meditation with his followers. He also discussed several contemporary health issues and expressed his delight at the successful treatment of many patients during the event. He expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang for his ever loving support and offered prayers for the continued progress of Sikkim in all areas. Additionally, he presented a symbolic gesture of appreciation to the Chief Minister and other dignitaries in attendance.
He also praised the state government for their efforts in promoting environmentally friendly development, such as the “Mero Rukh Mero Sampati” scheme. The organization pledged to plant 100,000 trees in Sikkim in support of this initiative.
