Awareness programme on “Scientific Dairy Management & Production cum Infertility camp” held at Government Senior Secondary School, Lingee

Namchi, 9th May: A daylong awareness programme on “Scientific Dairy Management & Production cum Infertility camp” was held in the auditorium hall of Government Senior Secondary School at Lingee, today. Present during the awareness programme were President, Secretary and members milk producers’ co-operative society namely from Sokpay-Maidan Society, Green Village Society and Lingee Society. Along with them a total number of 53 dairy farmers participated in the progrmme.
The Chief guest for today’s programme was Mr. Samdup Bhutia, Area In-Charge. Other guests included Principal, G.S.S.S, Panchayat President Lingee- Payong GPU. Dignitaries from AH&VS- Respected PD, Director(AH), JD(Dairy) from Krishi Bhawan, Gtk and Addl. Dir(S), Dy. Director(S), V.O. Yangang and V.O. Tarku were also present.
The house was briefed on various ongoing schemes of the department, information on SEED cell, NLM loans and Development through Credit and many more. The programme also included technical session wherein awareness on clean milk production and new dairy incentives were discussed. Also housing, feeding, breeding, Artifical Intelligence and management of dairy cows and new born calves were also emphasized.
During the course of the programme Felicitation and distribution of inputs to members of various milk cooperative societies was also conducted. Mineral mixtures and dewormers were also distributed among the dairy farmers.
