Har Ghar Tiranga Bicycle Rally

Namchi,7th August (IPR) : A team of six cyclists from Namchi completed a 75 km bicycle rally with the objective of raising awareness amongst the public about the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The group comprising of Gyatso Sherpa, Pranay Mangar, Rajiv Pradhan, Sanjay Subba, Jigme Bhutia and Bharani Kumar distributed 1000 National flags to the rural households, shops and religious institutions of various GPUs of the district namely Boomtar-Saleybung, Maniram Phalidara, Tangzi-Bikmat, Chuba- Phong, Rameng-Nizrameng, Nagi-Ruchung, etc.
The team also sensitised the public on the significance of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and the ongoing activities under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The public were encouraged to hoist the National flag in their houses and pin the location in the website harghartiranga.com.
