First meeting of District Panchayat Performance Assessment Committee (DPPAC) held at District Administrative Centre

Namchi, 30th September(IPR): The first meeting of District Panchayat Performance Assessment Committee (DPPAC) was held at District Administrative Centre, today. D.C. (Namchi) cum Chairperson Mr. M. Bharani Kumar chaired the meeting which was attended by DPO (Zilla) Ms. Karzang D. Lassopa and other line officials.
Addressing, the meeting DC cum Chairperson Mr. M. Bharani spoke about the importance of this meeting and about the National Panchayat Awards. He informed that the members of this committee to work in coordination for this award and ensure that maximum participation is sought from Gram Panchayat while filing of the online nominations.
The meeting deliberated on the district level orientation for all functionaries of Namchi district will be conducted at SIRD&PR on 12th October. The technical session for all the Panchayat Development Assistant of the respective Gram Panchayat Units will be held on 21st October.
Panchayat Coordinator cum Technical Official through a power point presentation highlighted the guidelines of National Panchayat Awards ceremony which has been recommended by Ministry of Panchayati Raj. He also stated the roles snd responsibilities of the District Level Committee entrusted by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj in recommendation of nominations for National Panchayat Awards.
