Inter-Constituency Football Tournament organized by Sports and Youth Affairs Department in collaboration with Maghey Mela Sports Committee as part of the upcoming Maghe Sankranti Mela

Namchi, 5th January: As, a part of the upcoming Maghe Sankranti Mela, 2023 the Sports and Youth Affairs Department in collaboration with Maghey Mela Sports Committee is organizing an Inter-Constituency Football Tournament at Jorethang Playground. The teams of 32 Constituency including sangha will be participating in the tournament.
In the first Match Namchi Singithang Constituency received a walk over against Namchebong Constituency, resulting in Namchi Singithang entering into the Pre-quater final. Likewise, in the second match Lachen Mangan emerged victorious with 04 goals against Sangha, they scored nil goals.
Similarly, in the third match Knathang Machong defeated Yuksom Tashiding in a tie-breaker with – 05 and 04 goals respectively. The Chief Guest for this match was Upaadhyaksha Soreng Zilla Panchayat Mr. Chandra Bir Shankar alongside various officials and public at large.
