Second In-house meeting of the members of Namchi District Zilla Panchayat held on 27th March at the conference hall of Zilla Panchayat Bhawan

Namchi, 29th March(IPR): A second In-house meeting of the members of Namchi District Zilla Panchayat was held on 27th March at the conference hall of Zilla Panchayat Bhawan, Namchi District.
The meeting was chaired by Zilla Adhakshya(Namchi) Ms. Anjeeta Rajalim.
Present amongst others were Up-adhakshya(Namchi) Mr. Bikash Tamang, Zilla Panchayat Members of other 28 Zilla Territories of Namchi District, CAO(Zilla) Mr. Dhruva Mukhia, DE(Zilla) Mr Sanjeev Rajalim, US(Zilla)Mr BB Tamang, AD Mr. Sagar Rai along with AEs and Staff of NDZP.
Addressing the house, Zilla Adhakshya Ms Anjeeta Rajalim extended her gratitude to the Zilla members for their collective support in the approval of the plans and proposals for this year. She mentioned how in a short time frame, various issues related to Zilla Panchayat Office have been sorted out to strengthen Panchayati Raj System. She requested the house that while preparing for the plan and proposal in the future, the priority shall be given to Education and Health sectors and also for the upliftment of women, BPL, and SC categories. Moreover, she requested the members to continue with the same efforts to bring out effective results for the public welfare.
Upa-Adhakskya Mr. Bikash Tamang in his address requested the officials to work in tandem to implement and execute the official works in the stipulated time.
CAO Mr. Dhruva Mukhia gave details on the funds received of Rs. 1.67 crore and 1.34 crore under the 5th State Finance Commission and 15th Finance Commission, respectively for the year 2022-23. He underlined that the fund shall be used as per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India.
During the meeting, the annual plans for the year 2022-23 under the 5th State Finance Commission and 15th Finance Commission were unanimously passed by the house. Similarly, the plans and proposals placed by the Zilla Members before the house was thoroughly discussed and passed by the house. In addition, the funds were equally allotted to the 30 Zilla Territorial Constituencies as per the approved annual plan and guidelines. The remaining amount of the fund has been held for the development and beautification of office premises and other miscellaneous expenses.
