New Retail Packs launched by Temi Tea

Namchi, 18th June: New Retail Packs of Temi Tea was launched by Chiarman, Tea Board of Sikkim Shri. Tashi Tshering Bhutia, Chief Secretary, Government of Sikkiand Shri. V. B. Pathak on 17th June.
White Tea tea bags (Dip Tea), Gift wooden Pack and Traditional wooden Chestlet were launched by Temi Tea Estate. Chief Secretary, Government of Sikkim has visited Temi Tea Estate on 17.06.2023 to oversee performance of Temi Tea Estate and prospectus for improvement of the State owned enterprise. Shri Bharnai Kumar, DC, and Shri Anant Jain, ADC, Namchi Dist. accompanied the CS.
Detailed Presentation was made to Chief Secretary by Shri M Ravikumar, MD, Temi Tea about Tea Plantation management, manufacture of Tea, Marketing, Labour welfare, issues faced by the Tea Estate.
Chief Secretary suggested to develop dairy sector in Temi Tea Estate as the estate has vast area, the tea workers can look after the milching cows, and cow dung can be utilized for tea garden as manure. He assured to support Temi Tea in all possible means including facilitating marketing of Temi Tea in local and national market.
He also visited Temi Tea factory and launched new retail packs of Temi Tea.
White tea is having lot of health benefits including anti-aging, anti-inflammatory properties, aids in digestion, protects from tooth decay and kidney related issues. White Tea dip tea convenient to carry and use.
Gift wooden box having all varieties of Tea viz,. Orthodox Black tea, Green Tea, Oolong Tea & White Tea and the Traditional Wooden Chest let made with authentic traditional packing normally done for export of teas, these packs can be used for gifting purpose.
Temi Tea Estate is also aiming at marketing of all organic food products of local MSMEs and entrepreneurs by standardizing their food products, improving their packaging, wide publicity and marketing their products in online and offline platforms which will also increase the revenue of Temi Tea Estate.
