Namchi, 6th October: ADC Namchi Shri Anant Jain IAS , ASP Namchi Shri Karma Chedup Bhutia , SHO Namchi Shri Ashish Bhujel , Asst Labour Commissioner Shri Mohan Chettri and others conducted an evacuation drive of labourers who were stranded at Thalthaley NHPC Tessta 6 plant .
The team reached NHPC Teesta 6 location via trek from Pomphok JHS to Thalthaley as road connectivity is completely washed out by the recent flood.
More than 500 labourers from different states were safely evacuated and dropped to Rangpo taxi stand where they left for their native place.
