Namchi District observes Constitution Day

Namchi, Nov 25(IPR): Mr Gopal K Chettri,SDM(Headquarter) Namchi administered the ‘Constitution Day’ pledge at District Administrative Centre Namchi, today.
The Constitution Day also known as ‘Samvidhan Divas’, is celebrated every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and to promote constitutional values among citizens.
It may be mentioned here that on 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect from 26th January 1950.
The pledge ceremony had the presence of all HoDs and staff of District Administrative Centre(Namchi).
