DC Namchi visits the playground of Kitam Senior Secondary School to evaluate the preparedness for the upcoming Janta Barosha Sammelan, 2024

Namchi, 24 Feb (IPR): Ms Annapurna Alley DC Namchi took stock on the preparations for the upcoming Janta Barosha Sammelan, 2024 at the playground of Kitam Senior Secondary School , today.
The DC was accompanied by Mr Karma C Bhutia ASP(Namchi), BDO(Namchi) Mr Dilip Dong, Mr Sandeep Rai DE(Namchi), Mr DB Rai CEO Education Department, Mr Nakul Rawat Deputy Director Women and Child Development Department, Ms Remika Tamang Zilla Kitam Manpur Gram Panchayat Unit(GPU), Mr Deepak Bhandari Panchayat President Kitam Manpur GPU along with the officers from the line departments.
During the inspection, the DC personally visited the venue and assigned various roles and responsibilities to the line departments and informed that the event will be graced by the Chief Minister of Sikkim, Mr Prem Singh Tamang on 27th of February 2024.
In this regard, she ensured various preparatory measures and the necessary instrumentation to be placed on time including the seating arrangements, decorations, water provision,sanitation facilities, power supply, traffic, safety and security management. In addition she also incorporated few suggestions that would make the event a grand success.
