DC Namchi cum District Election Officer(DEO) Namchi conducted a meeting with the officers of Excise Department at District Administrative Centre

Namchi, 1st March(IPR): Ms Annapurna Alley,DC Namchi cum District Election Officer(DEO)Namchi conducted a meeting with the officers of Excise Department at District Administrative Centre, today.
The meeting was attended by Dr TN Gyatso Sr. SP, ADC (HQ), SDM (HQ), SDM Namthang, Joint Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner, Excise Department along with their team.
During the meeting, the DEO held extensive discussions on the procedure of seizure of alcohol and crack down on illicit liquor dens.
In view of the upcoming election, she directed the officers to be vigilant and provide weekly reports to the DEO. In addition, she advised the officers to provide the relevant notifications pertaining to the seizure of liquor and allied substances from the department for dissemination of the information.
