Namchi District hosts Inter School Pre Subroto Cup District Level Football Tournament

Namchi, July 3, 2024 – The Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Namchi District, organised Pre Subroto Cup District Level Inter School Football Tournament from June 29 to July 3, 2024. The qualifying round for the state level tournament saw 13 teams participating under-15 boys category and 7 teams under-17 boys category.

The final match was held on july 3 and was graced by Chief Guest Mr Subash Ghimiray, Addl. District Collector (HQ) Namchi District.

In the final match Namchi Sr. Sec. School (NSSS) emerged victorious in both categories, winning under-15 and under-17 boys titles.

With this win, NSSS has qualified to represent Namchi District in the Pre Subroto Cup State Level Inter School Football Tournament, scheduled to take place from July 5 to 8, 2024, at Palzor Stadium in Gangtok.
