DC Namchi visits the restoration site of main water supply for Namchi at Ravangla

Namchi,July 11(IPR): Ms Anupa Tamling DC Namchi inspected the main water supply pipeline for Namchi at Ravangla Subdivision, today.
During the inspection, the DC was accompanied by Mr Subash Ghimirey ADC Namchi, Mr Sunil Mothey ADC Development Ravangla, Mr Rinchen Dorjee Bhutia SDM(Ravangla),Mr Karma choda Bhutia Deputy Director LR&DM along with the staff of PHE and representatives from NHIDCL.
The main objectives of the inspection was to examine the ongoing project on the restoration of main water supply pipeline for Namchi.
The DC enquired about the various aspects of the project with the representatives of NHIDCL, including the excavation and construction of track line for the installation of pipe at the site. She suggested to provide quality work with proper machinery management and ensured successive completion of work at the earliest.
She also instructed to take up the restoration work on war footing pace and stated that the progress of the work is being monitored by the district administration on daily basis.
Further, she also directed the officers of Ravangla to fully monitor and supervise the work progress in order to refrain from any kind of inconvenience to the public in future
