General Information to the Public of Namchi District Regarding the Mock Drill on Earthquake.

Namchi, 11 September (IPR) : The Namchi District Disaster Management Authority will conduct a Mock Drill on Earthquake on September 12, 2024, starting at 9:30 am.
Kindly take note that this is a MOCK EXERCISE and not an actual emergency.
Therefore, the public of Namchi is encouraged to participate in and cooperate with the officials during the drill. Kindly remain calm and avoid panic during the mock exercise.
The Designated Drill Locations are as follows:
1. Jorethang Sr. Sec School (Fire incident in class X)
2. Yangang Sr. Sec School (Stampede)
3. Residential Area (BAC Namchi) (Fire Incident)
4. Hospital (Building collapsed)
5. Ravangla (Landslide at Seleley)
6. Mankind Pharmaceutical, Amaley (Chemical Hazard)
7. GLOF, Lower Mamring
The Relief Camp is designated at Bhaichung Stadium.
