Preparatory Meeting for the 14th Foundation Day Celebration of Siddheswar Dham

Namchi, 20 September 2024 (IPR): The second preparatory meeting for the upcoming 14th Foundation Day celebration of Shri Shri Siddheswar Dham was convened today at the Siddheswar Dham Guest House. The event is scheduled to take place from 8th to 14th November 2024.
The meeting was chaired by Mr Bhoj Raj Rai Minister for Urban Development and Food & Civil Supplies.
Present during the meeting were Mr Ganesh Rai Chairman of NMC, Ms Trisang Tamang ADC Namchi, Mr Saran Kalikotey SDM Namchi, Mr N M Sharma Administrator of Siddheswar Dham and Mr Bishnu Nawpani Joint Secretary of Chardham along with various departmental officers and staff members.
The Minister addressed the attendees on the importance of organising the celebration workflow efficiently. He reviewed the outcomes of the previous meeting and stressed the need for precise estimations regarding the expected guest count. Additionally, he encouraged the pandits to deliver a grand display of Bhajans during the festivities.
Mr Saran Kalikotey and Mr Bishnu Nawpani reiterated the roles and responsibilities assigned to different departments to ensure a smooth execution of the Foundation Day celebration.
Mr N M Sharma provided an overview of planned events, highlighting the committee’s commitment to maintaining the monuments, enhancing decorations, and ensuring cleanliness as part of the 14th anniversary celebrations.
The meeting concluded with an interactive session, allowing departmental representatives to engage with the Minister and share various suggestions to enhance the celebration.
