DC Namchi holds Meeting on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) Implementation in Namchi.

Namchi 2 October 2024 (IPR): Ms. Anupa Tamling, District Collector Namchi, chaired a meeting to review and discuss the proposed plans for the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative at the District Administrative Centre Namchi, today.
Present during the meeting were Mr Subash Ghimirey ADC Namchi (HQ), Ms Trisang Tamang ADC Namchi, Dr CP Rai ADC Dev Namchi, Mr Saran Kalikotay SDM Namchi, Mr Suraj Rai CEO Namchi, Ms Sophia Lepcha Assistant Director Nutrition and other officers from the line department.
At the outset, the DC discussed on the importance of effectively executing various programmes under BBBP through a series of awareness campaigns and activities focused on empowering young girls. She highlighted the need to empower girl students through awareness campaigns and life-skills development activities, which are crucial in ensuring their holistic growth and education.
The officers in attendance collectively shared their perspectives on the programme’s implementation, offering valuable inputs for enhancing the outreach and impact of BBBP in the district.
