Mr Satish Chandra Rai Receives Certificate of Election for 11 Namchi-Singhithang Constituency

Namchi, October 30 (IPR): Mr Satish Chandra Rai, the candidate of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha from 11-Namchi-Singhithang Assembly Constituency, was formally presented the Certificate of Election by Ms Anupa Tamling, the Returning Officer and District Election Officer Namchi for the Bye-Election 2024, today.
The Certificate of Election (Form 22) was issued in the presence of Mr Moneesh Kumar, IAS, General Observer for Namchi District, Dr TN Gyatso, Senior Superintendent of Police Namchi, and officials from concerned departments.
The General Observer conveyed his congratulations to the newly elected Member of the Legislative Assembly and extended best wishes for his future endeavors. He also commended the district election officials for overseeing the bye-election in a manner that was both free and fair, devoid of any incidents of violence.
Similarly, Ms Anupa Tamling, District Election Officer, expressed her gratitude to all political party representatives and election officials for their cooperation in the smooth execution of the electoral process.
It is to be noted that Mr Satish Chandra Rai is declared unopposed in the bye-election following the withdrawal of Mr Daniel Rai from the Sikkim Democratic Front, who rescinded his nomination yesterday.
