Namchi District Observes Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

Namchi, 31 October (IPR): The District Administrative Centre of Namchi observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas today, joining the rest of the state in this significant celebration.
The pledge for Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was administered by Ms Trisang Tamang ADC Namchi, in the presence of Mr Nim Pintso Bhutia, SDM (HQ)alongside officials and staff from various line departments.
In addition, the pledge was also administered by the Heads of Offices across Namchi district, reinforcing the commitment to national unity.
It maybe mentioned here that National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, is celebrated annually on 31 October, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He is revered for his pivotal role in uniting the nation and fostering a spirit of solidarity among the people of India.
