ADC (HQ) chairs final meeting for the upcoming visit of Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim in Namchi

Namchi, November 7 (IPR): A final meeting to finalise the upcoming visit of the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim Mr Om Prakash Mathur was conducted today at the District Collector’s chamber in Namchi.
The meeting had the presence of Mr Subash Ghimirey ADC (HQ), Ms Tirsang Tamang ADC Namchi, Mr Nim Pintso Bhutia SDM (HQ), Dr T N Gyatsho Sy SP Namchi, Dr S.N Adhikari Health CMO, Mr Laxman Tamang CDPO Namchi, Ms Sophia Lepcha AD (Nutrition), along with the officials from concerned departments.
The meeting discussed the arrangements for the local tour program of the Governor of Sikkim during his two-day visit on 8th and 9th November.
The first day of the visit will include a tour of Namchi, while the second day will feature his visits to Siddheshwar Dham (Char Dham) and Samdruptse Namchi to offer prayers. The Governor will then make his visit to Ravangla to interact with local residents, followed by a visit to the Buddha Park (Tathagata Tsal) in Ravangla marking the conclusion of the Governor’s tour in Namchi District.
The Governor’s two-day visit is set to provide an opportunity for direct engagement with local communities, while also highlighting the region’s cultural heritage and the progress of its ongoing development initiatives.
