Ayurvidya Mental Health Program Awareness Program conducted at Sikkim Alpine University campus by Ayush Department District Hospital Namchi
Namchi, 11 November: The Ayurvidya Mental Health Program Awareness Program was conducted at the Sikkim Alpine University campus today by Ayush Department District Hospital Namchi and aimed to raise awareness about mental health issues among students.
The resource persons, Dr Neelima Thatal and Dr Kavita Thapa focused on topics such as identifying and understanding signs and symptoms of mental illness ,myths and facts surrounding mental health and recognizing early indicators for timely help.
The program emphasized the importance of reducing stigma around mental health and encouraging open dialogue.
Participants also learned about various breathing exercises and other techniques to manage stress.

Lastly, the event featured a quiz competition among students promoting an interactive engagement to reinforce the key messages of the program.
