W&CDD, Namchi in collaboration with Kapinzal Children Home organises thanksgiving Programme for NHPC at Ravangla

Namchi, 10th December (IPR): The Women and Child Development Department, Namchi, in collaboration with Kapinzal Children Home, organised a heartfelt Thanksgiving event for NHPC at Ravangla today.
The event saw the presence of Ms Anupa Tamling DC Namchi, Mr Rinchen Dorjee Bhutia SDM Ravangla, Mr Praveen Subarna Group Senior Manager (HR)NHPC, Ms Manisha Chitury Joint Secretary and Programme Manager W&CDD, Ms Pema Wangmu Bhutia, DCPO, Ms Megha Pradhan Protection Officer along with other members from the Women and Child Development Department, NHPC, and Kapinzal Children Home.
Ms Anupa Tamling DC Namchi expressed her sincere appreciation for NHPC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the district.
She lauded the Women and Child Development Department for their continuous efforts and encouraged everyone to persist in their work for the betterment of society.
Additionally, she motivated the children at Kapinzal Children Home to make the most of the opportunities available to them, stressing the importance of building a bright future.
Mr Praveen Subarna, Group Senior Manager of HR at NHPC, shared his positive experiences working with Kapinzal Children Home and highlighted the significant CSR initiatives in Namchi District that aim to uplift the community and improve the lives of those in need.
Ms Manisha Chitury Joint Secretary of W&CDD, expressed her gratitude to Kapinzal Children Home for providing shelter and support to vulnerable children.
She also took the opportunity to brief the gathering on the CNCP (Children in Need of Care and Protection) programme, which seeks to ensure the safety and well-being of children in the district.
The event featured vibrant cultural performances by the children of Kapinzal Children Home, which were warmly received by the attendees. In addition, tokens of gratitude were presented to various esteemed guests as a gesture of appreciation for their ongoing support and contributions.
