District-Level Preliminary Round for Inter-Constituency Football Tournament Concludes in Namchi

Namchi, January 7 (IPR): The district-level preliminary round of the Inter-Constituency Football Tournament, organised as part of the Makar Sankranti celebrations 2025, concluded today at Bhaichung Stadium, Namchi.
The event was attended by Mr Bhoj Raj Rai, Minister for Urban Development and Food and Civil Supplies Department, along with Basant Pradhan, Deputy Director of Sports and Youth Affairs, Namchi.
Seven teams participated in the tournament:
1. Namchi Singithang
2. Temi Namphing
3. Barfung
4. Namthang Rateypani
5. Rangang Yangyang
6. Melli
7. Poklok Kamrang
In the final match, Poklok Kamrang defeated Namthang Rateypani with a score of 4-0.
Team Poklok Kamrang will represent Namchi district in the state-level Inter-Constituency Football Tournament scheduled to take place at Jorethang Football Stadium starting January 9, 2025.
