The Namchi District Headquarter commemorated Martyr’s Day

Namchi, 30 January (IPR): The Namchi District Headquarter commemorated Martyr’s Day today at the District Administrative Centre, paying tribute to those who laid down their lives during India’s freedom struggle.
As a mark of respect, a two-minute silence was observed from 11:00 AM to 11:02 AM, during which all work and movement, including traffic, came to a complete halt.
The observance was led by Mr Nim Pintso Bhutia SDM (HQ) along with Mr Saran Kalikotey SDM Namchi. Officers from various departments and staff members were also present to honor the occasion.
