Namchi, 3 May : Under the visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim, as a part of reviving all barren lands across the state, Temi BAC has transformed the surrounding premises into cultivable land.
Furthermore, under the banner “Hamro Bari Hamro Bali” 12-Namphing GPU under the block notably commenced the cultivation of ginger and maize as early as February, 2025 which is highly commendable and reflects the GP’s enthusiasm and commitment to the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s vision. Similarly, other Gram Panchayats under the block have proactively embraced this initiative and have been reviving barren lands available under their respective GPUs.
This initiative is a testament to the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s far sighted objective of reviving all uncultivated lands across the state ,promote organic farming and thereby contributing significantly to strengthen the state’s economy.
