National Exposure Youth Programme 2025 Concludes in Namchi

Namchi, May 8 (IPR): The National Exposure Youth Programme 2025 concluded at a local hotel in Namchi, today.
The three-day programme aimed at promoting national integration through cultural exchange and youth engagement.
The programme was organised by Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Meghalaya in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Namchi and The Blood Volunteers of Sikkim.
ADC Namchi Ms Trisang Tamang shared her own experience of participating in a similar cultural exchange programme during her youth. She acknowledged the active involvement of the delegation throughout the event, encouraged them to make the most of such opportunities, and extended her best wishes for their future.
Youth Programme Coordinator Mr Bobby Wahlang, extended thanks to all dignitaries and partners involved. He spoke about the role of such initiatives in promoting understanding among diverse communities and providing exposure opportunities for tribal youth. He noted that such platforms provide exposure for tribal youth and called for broader outreach in future editions. He also acknowledged the hospitality extended by the host town.
Additionally, the delegation participated in an interaction session where they exchanged thoughts and ideas regarding their trip to the region. A delegate also recited a poem about the place during the session.
The program concluded with the delegates presenting a song from Meghalaya.
The closing ceremony was also attended by NYK Namchi Programmer Mr B S Malik, Chief Coordinator Blood Volunteers Mr Kul Prashad Chettri and Property Owner Mr M K Rai
