Block Master Trainers for Namchi district trains under AADI KARMAYOGI Scheme.

Namchi, Sept 10 (IPR): Three day long training sessions to train designated Block Master Trainers (BMTs) under AADI KARMAYOGI Scheme for Namchi district resumes with various interactive training session filled with activities at District Process Lab Namchi today.
The AADI KARMAYOGI scheme, a responsive governance programme, under Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, outlines various key tasks, timeliness and responsible agencies for implementing the initiatives under various action plans. The scheme aims to preserve the cultural identity while ensuring access to rights, entitlements and opportunities for holistic development, for which a total of 31 BMTs are being trained.
The AADI KARMAYOGI scheme also aims for implementation of action plans for the saturation of schemes intended for the upliftment and improvement of various tribal villages within the district through.
ADC Namchi Ms Tirsang Tamang also the Chief Guest for the day urged the trainee BMTs to make the best use of the training being provided, stating that in the coming days they have to work along with converged departments and make plans for scheme implementation in designated tribal villages in their blocks.
She also stated that under the scheme each employee should be motivated to be a Karmayogi and work for the upliftment of the tribal population. She also urged the trainee BMTs to work as a team with designated BDOs and fulfill the criterias given within the scheme.
Joint Secretary Social Welfare Department/State Master Trainer Mr Prem Kumar Rai, in his address talked about the background of the scheme stating that the BMTs being trained shall form up a team within themselves and also various officials and other volunteer members to work, plan and implement the schemes for the upliftment of the tribal population. He also stated that their training and their designation as BMTs holds a responsibility towards the tribal community and one should not waver from their duties and codes.
The day long session witnessed various interactive, creative and roleplay sessions focused on team development, solution finding, critical analysis and thinking activities that are needed for the BMTs in the future for the heightened work effeciency and effective gap finding of the schemes and its implementation.
The day also had the presence of Deputy Director/Designated Officer Food Safety (H&FWD) Mr Rinzing Bhutia, Assiatant Engineer (RDD)/State Master Trainer Mrs Laxmi Suji, Welfare Officer/Nodal Offucer Social Welfare Department Mr Sonam Dadul Bhutia, District Master Trainers, trainee Block Master Trainers and VP VOICE (CSO/NGO) Ms Adrina Gurung.
