A “One Day at School” program was conducted at Kitam Senior Secondary School by the Namchi District Fisheries Department

A “One Day at School” program was conducted at Kitam Senior Secondary School by the Namchi District Fisheries Department. The session was led by Assistant Director Mr. Ugen Tseten Bhutia and was accompanied by Block Officers- Nirmala Thapa and Punama Gurung.
The program covered important topics such as indigenous fishes of Sikkim, the work undertaken by the department, conservation efforts and opportunities in fisheries science for both academic and career pursuits.
