A review meeting on District Task Force on Immunisation (DTFI) regarding Intensified Mission Indradhanush 5.0 conducted at District Administrative Centre

Namchi, 4th August(IPR): A review meeting on District Task Force on Immunisation (DTFI) regarding Intensified Mission Indradhanush 5.0 was conducted at District Administrative Centre, today. DC (Namchi) Mr. M. Bharani Kumar chaired the meeting, who is also the chairman of DTFI.
Present at the meeting were CMO (Namchi) Dr. S.N Adhikari, DRCHO Dr. B.K Chauhan, CNO Ms. Bijaylaxmi Rai, Joint Director (Education Department) Mr. G.P Sharma, DPHNO, Ms. Jayanti Sharma along with other officials from Education Department, Health and Family Welfare and Women and Child Development Department of the district.
The DRCHO Dr. B.K Chauhan gave a brief presentation on various aspects of DTFI, where he highlighted about the preparedness and details of micro plan of DTFI. He also informed about the day-wise session plan, which will be launched on 7th of August and shared the Immunisation Schedule for vaccination under Universal Immunisation Programme(UIP).
An in-depth interactive session was also held, where DC enquired about the full immunisation status of the district.
It was also informed that National Deworming Day will be observed on 24th of August where pupil up to 19 years will be dewormed at various schools, colleges and institutions around namchi district.
