ADC (HQ) Namchi chairs District Level Consultative Committee Meeting

Namchi, May 9 (IPR): The District Level Consultative Committee (DLCC) meeting for Namchi district was convened at the Conference hall of District Administrative Centre Namchi, today.
The meeting had the presence of Mr Subash Gimirey ADC (HQ) Namchi, Mr Gadhadar Roy Chief Manager (CM) State Bank of India, SLBC Sikkim, Mr Subash Luyagun Manager RBI Gangtok, Mr Kallol Bhattacharya CM cum Lead District Manager, Mr Rupen Kumar Lamichaney AGM cum District Development Officer, National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) Namchi, alongside representatives from various banks under Namchi district.
The ADC (HQ) interacted and reviewed the agenda thoroughly with representatives of various banks during the meeting. He highlighted the importance regarding the Financial Literacy Camp (FLC) which needs to be conducted by all the Rural Branches as per the RBI directive. He also added that Block Level Banker’s Committee (BLBC) meeting should be attended by each member of Nodal Branch to make the BLBC meeting a success.
Also, he highlighted crucial reports of the bank and scrutinised the status of various Government schemes and loan disbursement within the district.
Further, the house reviewed the overall achievement of banks which included perimeters such as Credit Deposit Ratio, Annual Credit Plan, agriculture and allied activities, MSME sector, other priority, and non-priority sector, government sponsored schemes, Self Help Groups (SHGs), Kisan Credit Card (KCC), housing finance scheme, Education Loan and Miscellaneous according to the quarter-end percentages.
