ADC Namchi chairs orientation meeting for implementation of AADI KARMAYOGI Abhiyan and District Processing Labs.

Namchi, Sept 08 (IPR): ADC Namchi, Ms Tirsang Tamang, chaired an orientation meeting for the implementation of AADI KARMAYOGI Abhiyan at the block and village levels across the district. The meeting was held at the chamber of the District Collector, District Administrative Centre, Namchi.
The meeting focused on the implementation of action plans for the saturation of schemes intended for the upliftment and improvement of various tribal villages within the district.
The scheme under Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, outlines various key tasks, timeliness and responsible agencies for implementing the initiatives under various action plans. It also aims to preserve the cultural identity while ensuring access to rights, entitlements and opportunities for holistic development.
ADC Namchi, Ms Tirsang Tamang, stated that the scheme has been designed with bottom to top approach for effective implementation at village levels. She also stated that the scheme ensures to saturate various schemes for the tribal populous. Talking about the course of actions to be taken, she advised the BDOs to prepare vision plans with the Block Mission teams and also urged them to utilise Block Master Trainers who are identified and are to be trained in the coming days.
She also stated that various centres and single windows are to be setup for grievance redressal and action implementation. She also informed that existing schemes and their gaps are to be identified and implemented for a better outcome.
As informed by Welfare Inspector Ms Dimee Bhutia, a workshop to train Block Master Trainers shall be held from 10th to 12th September, 2025, for which the BMTs are also identified by the concerned department. She also informed that the scheme shall be implemented over 6 blocks identified, namely Namchi, Temi, Ravangla, Wok, Yangang and Namthang, where a total of 37 cluster villages are assigned for the scheme implementation. She also urged the concerned BDOs to hold a special Gram Sabha where AADI KARMAYOGI Abhiyan shall be sensitised to the general public. Further, she also stated that BDOs are to monitor the saturation of various schemes during the course of action.
The meeting had the presence of BDO Sikkip Mr Basant Moktan, BDO Temi Mr Roshan Rai, BDO Namthang Mr Ratan Gurung, BDO Yangang Ms Needay Bhutia, BDO Ravangla Mr B B Tamang, DIO Namchi Ms Deepti Pradhan, PI Mr Sagardeep Subba and Welfare Inspectors.
