Namchi,25th September: As a nationwide campaign on Swachhata Hi Sewa (SHS) commenced from 15th September-2nd October 2023, a cleanliness drive was carried out by BAC Namchi at Helipad, Assangthang, today.
The cleanliness drive was actively participated by Panchayats, BDO, AE, Pls, JEs, staff of Namchi BAC and Assangthang GPK and public from surrounding.
The litters were collected in huge garbage sacks and collectively segragated for proper disposal. Also wastes along the roadside connecting Namchi town was cleared. The stacked bins kept for dumping wastes were also emptied in garbage bags.
All the waste collected was handed over to Assangthang GPK authorities for further proper disposal. At the end of the drive everyone expressed their contentment for being able to be a part of this mass campaign.
