Aspirational Block Programme meeting at DAC, Namchi

Namchi, 21st September:A meeting with regards to Aspirational Block Programme (ABP), initiated by NITI Aayog was held at DAC, Namchi. This meeting was attended by AD (NITI Aayog) Mr. Baskar Jyoti accompained by DC (Namchi) Mr. M. Bharani Kumar, Assistant Collector Mr. Pulkit, Director (SIRD& PR) Mr.Vishal Mukhia, ADC( Dev) Soreng Mr. Pegga and BLOs of Namchi , Chumboong and Chongrang block.
AD (NITI Aayog) Mr. Baskar Jyoti briefly noted to assist the BLOs in preparing the Block Development Strategy (BDS). He added in detail how the interventions are to be carried forward to bring about saturation to all the critical gaps diagnosed during Chintan Shivir. He emphasized the BDS to be prepared within 25th September and uploaded by 30th September, 2023 at NITI Aayog portal.
BDO (Namchi) Mr. N.P. Bhutia presented about ABP which was carried out at Namchi Block. He also informed as to how the BDS are being prepared through power presentation mode.
