Bicycle rally to commemorate World Bicycle Day at Namchi

Namchi, 3rd June(IPR): Namchi Nehru Yuva Kendra in co-ordination with Namchi District Administration organised a bicycle rally to commemorate the occasion of World Bicycle Day, today.
The aim of rally is to promote a healthy lifestyle and enjoy the pleasure of riding a bicycle. This will keep one involved in a form of exercise and the people can avoid the growing addiction to gadgets as well.
The bicycle rally was flagged off by the Namchi Municipal Council Chairperson Mr. Ganesh Rai in the presence of DC(Namchi) Mr. M Bharani Kumar, ADC(Namchi) Mr. Anant Jain, SSP(Namchi) Mr.KL Tenzing along with participants.
The rally started from Central Park and later culminated at Siddheshwar Dham.
A total of approximately 50 riders took part in the rally. In addition, they were also handed over certificates of participation by the Chief Guest.
