Block Administrative Centre Organises Community Activities under “Swachhata Hi Seva”

Namchi, 24 September(IPR) : Mickhola Singithang Gram Panchayat Unit (GPU) hosted an Inter-School Painting Competition at the Gram Prashasan Kendra. The event saw enthusiastic participation from various schools within the GPU, showcasing the artistic talents of local students while promoting the ideals of cleanliness and sanitation.
In conjunction with the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign, the Maniram Phalidara GPU successfully conducted Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) activities. These initiatives aimed to raise awareness about hygiene and sanitation practices among community members.
Additionally, the Tingrithang GPU organized a community marathon that attracted local residents, encouraging public participation and fostering a spirit of teamwork. The event was supported by the Zilla Panchayat and various Gram Panchayats, further enhancing community engagement in the campaign.
