Celebration of Shri Shri Vishwakarma Puja, 2024 at Namchi district

Namchi, September 17 (IPR): The Shri Shri Vishwakarma Puja Celebration, 2024 organised by Bishwakarma (Kami) Kalyan Samity (BKKS) in association with the State Level Bhagavan Vishwakarma Puja Celebration Committee was celebrated at a local hotel in Namchi today.
Mr Madan Cintury MLA Zoom-Salghari Constituency graced the celebration as the Chief Guest . He was accompanied by Mr Satish Chandra Rai, Dr A K Ghataney Former Minister, Councillors NMC, Mr Subhash Ghimirey ADC (HQ), Mr Saran Kalikotey SDM Namchi, Mr Suraj Rai CEO Education, Dr S N Adhikari CMO Namchi), Ms Bandana Rai Principal, PM Shri Girls Senior Secondary School Namchi, Mr Hari Thapa Principal, Senior Secondary School Namchi along with students and members of the organising committee.
Mr R B Bishwakarma BKKS State Coordinator highlighted the significance of Bishwakarma Puja and spoke about the BKKS Committee’s role in preserving the traditions and culture of the Bishwakarma community. He also acknowledged the contributions of various individuals towards the district’s development.
During the programme, the chief guest was felicitated by the organising committee which was followed by the felicitation of twenty-one personalities for their achievements and contributions to the state through various disciplines.
The celebration also hosted various bhajan presentation and cultural performances.
The programme concluded with presentation of awards and cash prizes to the winners, namely:

3rd Anjuli Tamang
4th Salina Lohar.
