DC Chairs Coordination Meeting for Sector Magistrates, FSTs, SSTs and Stresses MCC Implementation

Namchi, March 16 (IPR): Mrs Annapurna Alley, DC cum DEO presided over a final preparation meeting at DAC Namchi, today.
The meeting had the presence of Sr. SP Dr TN Gyatsho, ADC Namchi Mr Anant Jain, SDMs and concerned Officers.
During the meeting, DC cum DEO enlightened about the roles and responsibilities of Sector Magistrates, FSTs and SSTs in maintaining law and order, preventing electoral malpractices, and promptly addressing any violations. The participants were deliberated on strategies to enhance vigilance and ensure strict adherence to election guidelines.
Further, She instructed the team on efficient enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in anticipation of the upcoming General Election 2024 and apprised the significance of adhering to MCC to ensure fair and transparent electoral process.
