DC Namchi chairs coordination meeting with Head of Offices under Namchi District

Namchi, July 12 (IPR): Ms Anupa Tamling DC Namchi chaired a meeting with all Heads of Offices at the Conference Hall of DAC, Namchi.
Also present during the meeting were Dr T N Gyatsho Sr SP Namchi, Mr Subash Ghimiray ADC (HQ), Mr C.P Rai ADC (Dev) Namchi, Mr Sunil Mothey ADC (Dev) Ravangla, Mr Gopal K Chettri SDM (HQ), Mr Saran Kalikotay SDM (Namchi) along with HoOs from different departments.
During the meeting, the DC enquired about the status of each department in the district. She instructed the HoOs to provide details of their overall functioning. She further stressed on the close collaboration of all departments on maintaining cleanliness in their premises. She also emphasized the importance of properly disposing of e-waste and the prohibition of plastic waste.
Mr. Subash Ghimiray, ADC (HQ), requested the Smart City, Power Department, PHE Department, Health Department, and Forest Department to coordinate for the upcoming Rankey Mela event.
Mr. Gopal K. Chettri, SDM (HQ), initiated the programme by informing the HoOs about the meeting agenda. He requested the HoOs to provide a review and retrospective analysis, as well as to present the benchmarks and targets of their respective departments.
The respective officers also presented updates on the diverse sectors responsible for providing necessary amenities to support the district’s continuous development. Furthermore, they engaged in discussions concerning several challenges including their demands and pending liabilities of the departments.
It was also informed during the meeting about successful implementation of centrally and state launched schemes which was followed by in depth discussions about the maintenance and cleanliness of public spots and government buildings.
