DC Namchi chairs meeting on the ongoing ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign, organized as part of “Good Governance Week” 2024.

Namchi, December 24 (IPR): Ms Anupa Tamling DC Namchi, conducted a meeting today at the District Administrative Centre to assess the progress of the ongoing ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign, organized as part of “Good Governance Week” 2024.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Nim Pintsho Bhutia SDM (HQ), along with Heads of Offices from various line departments.
The campaign, held from December 19 to December 24, 2024, focuses on promoting good governance by encouraging active community participation at the block level. Special events and camps have been organized during this period to address public grievances and enhance service delivery.
During the review, DC Namchi sought updates from departmental officials regarding the campaign’s programs in the district. She also addressed issues faced by both the public and the administration in ensuring effective service delivery, emphasizing the need to adopt better governance practices.
To improve grievance handling, she announced the establishment of a grievance redressal cell at the District Administrative Centre.
The officials presented updates on the departmental efforts to resolve public concerns ensuring prompt service delivery. They also highlighted about the status of the ongoing schemes including KCC loan, e-services, PMMVY, PM Fasal Bima Yojana which are implemented in the distirct.
