Deputy Speaker SLA attends the fifth day of the Shrimad Bhagavat Week Gyan Mahayagya

Namchi, 23 April (IPR): On the occasion of the ongoing 15th Foundation Year Celebrations at Siddheshwar Dham, Namchi, the fifth day of the ceremony was graced by the presence of the Deputy Speaker (SLA) Ms Raj Kumari Thapa.
The Deputy Speaker commenced ritual for the fifth day of the ongoing Shrimad Bhagavat Gyan Mahayagya, where the sacred scriptures were recited by Katha Wachak Pandit Vihari Sharan Upadhyay and Uppa kathawachak Pandit Narayan Neupane.
She also participated in the Brahmin Barun Pooja and Aarti, and subsequently attended the hawan ceremony at the hawan kund accompanied by other dignitaries, further adding to the sanctity of the occasion.
She also paid a special visit to Revered Jagatguru Ananta Bidhushtu Balshanta Mohan Sharan Devacharya Maharaj Shree.
During her visit, she was bestowed blessings by the esteemed spiritual leader and had the opportunity to hear his preaching. In a display of generosity, the Jagatguru also gifted her a unique souvenir from Nepal, representing spiritual goodwill and cultural harmony.
Jagatguru Ananta Bidhushtu Balshanta Mohan Sharan Devacharya Maharaj Shree, expressed his happiness at being part of the celebrations and shared his experiences with the esteemed guests. He also stated that it was his long standing wish to visit Sikkim. He said he felt immensely delighted and honored to finally witness the spiritual and cultural richness of the state.
It maybe mentioned here that the Shrimad Bhagavat Week Gyan Mahayagya will be held till 25th April 2025.
