Devotees celebrates Pang Lhabsol at Udhar Che-Sum Mani Chokerling Gumpa, Ravangla, with spiritual fervour.

Namchi, Sept 07 (IPR): Each year, Sikkim celebrates the auspicious Pang Lhabsol, honouring and worshiping the deities for protection and continued blessings of peace and harmony within the communities of Sikkim. Similarly, devotees gathered to witness the festival being celebrated at Udhar Che-Sum Mani Chokerling Gumpa at Ravangla.
MLA Barfung and Advisor for Roads & Bridges Department, Mr Riksal Dorjee Bhutia, graced the day as the Chief Guest accompanied by Guests of Honour MD State Bank of Sikkim Mr Wangdi Bhutia and Mr Tashi Gyalpo Bhutia.
An annual festival of Sikkim, celebrating and paying homage to Mt Kanchendzonga and the protector deities of Sikkim, the celebration also witnessed the performance of Pangtoed Cham (masked warrior dance).
During the course of the celebration, various senior and sports personalities of the Bhutia community were also felicitated by the Bhutia Social Welfare Association, Ravangla, through the hands of the Chief Guest.
The day also had the presence of Tikula Sangter Tinku, Chairman LR&DM Mr T T Bhutia, Chairman Power Advisory Board Mr Sonam Pintsho Bhutia, Chairperson Women Commission Ms Teny Doma Bhutia, OSD to IPR Department Mr Pema Chultim Bhutia, ADC (Dev) Ravangla Mr D P Dahal, SDM Ravangla Mr B B Dahal, SDPO Ravangla Mr Roshan Rai and other dignitaries.
