Distribution of Ex-Gratia at Shree Krishna Pranami Mangal Dham at Singtam

Namchi, 29th October(IPR): The Minister cum Area MLA, Temi-Namphing Constituency, Mr. Bedu Singh Panth handed over ex-gratia under Chief Minister’s Relief Fund(CMRF) to the victims that were affected by recent flash floods at Shree Krishna Pranami Mangal Dham, today.
Present at the distribution programme were DC(Namchi) Mr. M Bharani Kumar, Principal Private Secretary to HCM, Mr. Ranjan Rai, SDM (Namchi) Mr. N. K Karki, SDPO(Ravangla) Mr. Bikash Tiwari, PRO, Chief Minister’s Office(CMO)Mr. Ratna Mani Pradhan, SHO,(Temi) Ms. Chomula Lachungpa, BDO (Temi) , Mr. Prem Kumar Subba, Panchayat members, Officials and staff from Education department and Block Administrative Centre,Temi along with the beneficiaries.
The Minister in his brief address, expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the victims and extended his appreciation to the people of Temi Namphing constituency for showcasing better coordination towards the administration. He also appealed the public to coordinate systematically with the administration in terms of issues regarding any kind of assistance.
He applauded the efforts and dedication of the youths of Temi Namphing Constituency and district administration for relentlessly working in providing support aftermath the disaster.
During the programme, BDO(Temi), Mr. Prem Kumar Subba highlighted the overall agendas of the distribution programme, where he informed that the distribution is solely under the CMRF. He informed that the distribution of cheques were made for 75 fully damaged households, 25 commercial shops owner, whose shops were washed away at Adarshgoan,158 tenants and 136 students.
Likewise, he advised that in case of any errors in cheques pertaining to names and addresses of the victims, the beneficiaries can inform the concern panchayats and officials and get verified accordingly.
