Distribution of medical equipment by Namchi Zilla Panchayat office and Inauguration of newly constructed Zilla Guest House

Namchi, 3rd August(IPR): A brief program was organised to hand over medical equipment by the office of Namchi District Zilla Panchayat at the conference hall of Zilla Panchayat Bhawan of Namchi, today.
The program was attended by Zilla Adhakshya (Namchi) Mrs Tshering Dem Bhutia as the chief guest and had the presence of Zilla Upadhakshya Mr Bhim Lakhey along with Zilla panchayat members, ADC(Development) Mr CP Rai, DPO (Zilla) Ms Karzang D. Lassopa, DE Mr Dhurba Mukhia and other officials and staff of accounts and engineering cell of Namchi Zilla Panchayat office.
At the outset, the chief guest inaugurated the newly constructed Guest House which is built under the zilla panchayat fund at an estimated cost of 50 lakhs rupees(approx).
During the program, Zilla Adhakshya extended her gratitude to every official and staff who took part in the smooth functioning of the office during the 5year long tenure. Further, she requested them to work in the same efficient manner.
The office of Namchi District Zilla Panchayat handed over medical equipment and other kits to Namchi District Hospital which was received in presence of CMO (Namchi) Dr DC Sharma and DMS(Namchi) Dr SN Adhikari.
CMO Namchi expressed his gratitude to the office of Zilla Panchayat for the unwavering support throughout and especially during the unprecedented times of covid outbreak in the district.
Thereafter, the program also saw the felicitation of officials and staff for rendering dedicated service and other assistance by the office.
To mark the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the office also hoisted the National Flag at the office premises under the campaign of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiated by the state government.
