District Administration Namchi holds Electoral Literacy Club awareness workshop

Namchi, March 16(IPR): District Administration Namchi conducted an awarness programmes with the theme ‘Where Learning Meets Empowerment’ for students of various schools under Namchi District at Town Hall, today.
Mr Pulkit, Assistant Collector gave a brief presentation on how Electoral Literacy Clubs functions and works to promote awareness about the electoral process of ethical voting.
The Assistant Collector further talked about how students can work on mock electoral processes through organising Chunav Pathshalas, a mock poll drill in schools and colleges, to make everyone aware about the electoral process.
Further in the presentation, the Assistant Collector highlighted the point that Nominated Campus Ambassadors and teachers who can organise various events in their respective areas to make everyone aware about the electoral process and its functions.
The Programme had the presence of Mr Pulkit Assistant Collector, Ms Sedan Sonam Bhutia Assistant Education Officer, Ms Methela Rai Aspirational Block Programme along with the teachers and students from various schools under Namchi district.
