District Level Preliminary Round for Inter Constituency Football Tournament Begins in Namchi District

Namchi, January 3 (IPR): The District Level Preliminary Round of the Inter Constituency Football Tournament, organised as part of the Makar Sankranti celebrations 2025, commenced today at Bhaichung Stadium, Namchi.
A total of seven teams are participating in the tournament:
1. Namchi Singithang
2. Temi Namphing
3. Barfung
4. Namthang Rateypani
5. Rangang Yangyang
6. Melli
7. Poklok Kamrang
In the opening match, Barfung defeated Temi Namphing with a score of 4-1, securing a place in the semifinals.
The winner of Namchi District level tournament will represent the district at the State Level Inter Constituency Football Tournament. The state-level matches will take place at Jorethang Football Stadium from January 9, 2025, with each winning team from six districts competing for the title.
