Electronics Voting Machines shifted at Namchi Strong Room Following First Randomisation

Namchi, October 22 (IPR): The Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) to be used for Bye-election for 11 Namchi-Singhithang AC, were shifted successfully at EVM Strong room set up at Namchi Senior Secondary School, following the first randomisation process today.
All EVMs were securely sealed in the strong room in the presence of Ms Anupa Tamling, DC/DEO Namchi, Dr T N Gyatso, Sr SP Namchi, Mr Subash Ghimirey, ADC HQ/ARO, Mr Nim Pintso Bhutia, SDM HQ, Mr Saran D Kalikotey, SDM Namchi along with the representatives of political parties.
The whole process was carried out with strict adherence to the standard protocol of the election.
The strong room shall be guarded round-the-clock by the Armed Police Personnel.
