Expenditure Observers conducts meeting at District Administrative Centre

Namchi, March 22 (IPR): Expenditure Observers for Namchi District, Mr Lalhmingmawia Ralte, IRS, and Mr Ashish Kumar Shukla, IRS, chaired a meeting at District Administrative Centre under Namchi District today.
The meeting had the presence of Ms Annapurna Alley District Election Officer, Returning Officers, District Nodal Officers of Election Expenditure Monitoring, Sikkim Police, District Level Bankers’ Committee, Excise Department, Forest and Environment Department, Information and Public Relations Department, GST and Commercial Tax Department, Transport Department.
During the meeting, the Expenditure Observers enquired the Nodal Officers about necessary measures pertaining to the preparedness of General Elections ,2024 and instructed them to incorporate Expenditure Monitoring Guidelines. Further, they emphasised on the importance on the execution of assigned tasks and work collaboratively to ensure free and fair elections in the district.
