Final batch of Presiding and Polling Officers I of Namchi District undergo training for General Election 2024

Namchi, Feb 2 (IPR): The first round of training session for the final batch of Presiding and Polling Officers I for the upcoming General Elections 2024 commenced at DAC Namchi, today.
The training was facilitated by State Level Master Trainers Mr Sunny Kharel SDM Soreng and Ms Bhumika Chettri Deputy Secretary Election Cell Namchi along with ALTs, aiming to further enhance the knowledge of the participating officers, followed by hands-on training on Electronic Voter Machines(EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT).
A total of 39 officers underwent the training today, among them 21 were presiding and 18 were polling officers.
The training had the presence of Ms Annapurna Alley DC Namchi cum DEO, Mr Anant Jain ADC Namchi, Mr Pulkit Asst. Collector, Mr Sunil kr. Mothey ADC (Dev) Ravangla, Mr Gopal K. Chettri SDM (HQ), alongside other officials from various line departments.
