Final round training for absentee Presiding and Polling Officers for General Election 2024 underway in Namchi district

Namchi, April 15 (IPR): The training session for absentee Presiding and Polling Officers for the forth and final round was conducted at Town Hall Auditorium Namchi district.
Throughout the training session participants were trained in the responsibilities of polling and presiding officers, they also acquired knowledge on handling statutory paperwork.
Further, the trainees gained theoretical and practical experience with EVMs and VVPATs. Additionally, the IT department showcased the E-Atlas Traccar app for real-time location monitoring.
The training session was facilitated by Mr Pulkit Asst. Collector, Ms Bhumika Chettri SLMT cum Deputy Secretary Election Cell, Ms Vaishno Rai ALMT cum Deputy Director Agriculture Department, Mr Tshering Norgyal Theeng SLMT cum SDM Yangyang, Mr Gopal K Chettri DLMT cum SDM(HQ) Namchi.
