First randomisation of EVMs and VVPATs for ensuing Bye Elections 2024

Namchi, October 22 (IPR): The first randomisation to allocate Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trails (VVPATs) to 19 polling stations in Namchi for the upcoming Bye Elections of 11-Namchi-Singhithang Assembly Constituency was held at the conference hall of DAC Namchi today.
The randomisation was conducted in the presence of Ms Anupa Tamling, Returning Officer-cum-District Election Officer Namchi, alongside representatives from political parties and the election officers.
